Despite the difficulty, (which I count as a plus for any game) this game is an awesome play, and I'm proud to have it in my collection of 2D games. you can dispute such payments if in case something goes wrong with the trade. You work so hard making a game, and the player blasts through it like it's nothing, and what took you maybe a year or longer to make gets beaten in a few short hours. People don't make games challenging anymore. Some folks don't like this, but that's because they have been emasculated by playing unchallenging games. The low rate of fire make it hard to take on large groups of bad guys. The game is very challenging, particularly on the platforming levels. Guide Serena through 7 stages of shmup action, jumping, shooting, and yet decidedly more jumping and shooting to her ultimate goal of total testicular annihilation. This is obviously a cause to embark on an epic quest to punish the troll in question, who just happens to be The Space Prince. The retro style was adhered to, and fans of old cartridge games should appreciate this. Galactic hero Serena S has been trolled on Spacebook.

Music is like space opera, but done in a MOD or XM format, as was done back in the old days. The alien worlds are very detailed, and the aliens are unique and creative. There are elements of Shoot Em Up style spaceship combat, as well as side scrolling platform action. All sorts of terrible game design was commonplace there, and was just something we learned to love. Not that it makes Ultionus a good game or anything - its still terrible, but this RC6 release drags it. This new version overhauls the original game in almost every way imaginable, short of making it an entirely new thing.

All that said, I am really enjoying this game. My excuse is that Ultionus was a re-tread of a very specific type of games from the past - home arcade games from the 8-bit era. Its been a (very) long time coming, but I have finally decided to update Ultionus. There are some adult themed jokes, and the artwork is a bit on the grown-up side. BUt thats just another fun story to tell. In all these years its made one girl who i brought over 360 and walk away when she gazed upon it.
